What hilarious pictures and what a fascinating piece of yourself, that is if I am right in assuming you are speaking of yourself.

At 36 I am only just at the very beginning of having a child and when it will be born there will be so much passed on that I have learnt from you, Ritva.

Your granddaughter is lucky.

Jo with hugs

Ritva,
Are you a grandmother? Looks like fun! Tomory and I haven't had any kids yet, maybe in the next year or so :)

dear jo and jennifer,
my daugther is 37 and i have these grandchildren, boy 13 and a girl 7 years old. i have a son too. he is 28. he has no children yet. soon i hope :)
i have noticed that you all in here seem to be so much younger than what i am. i hope that it doesn´t bother you. i´m just a soul. this beauty thing is something that we all have in common.
my grandson is the older one, and soon i will tell you something about him.

hugs!

ritva!
that's so great!
you are grandmother!
how lucky you and the granddaughter probably are!

I never thought about you could be a grandmother. I just didn't think about. but I like this idea so much! although it doesn't change anything - it's just great because it's a wonderful surprise.

I'm 34 and have no children (even no man for it right now... ). a woman two days ago said to me: you're strange having no boyfriend. I'm not sure she's right but I hope time will come and I'll find the one and if there will be childs as well - ?!
it's not only us who can decide.

By all means, no it doesn't bother me in the slightest.

Matter of fact, I have always been able to 'communicate' better with people older than myself.

I knew you were 'older', I seem to remember reading it somewhere somehow or am I mixing things up and felt it.

You were a young mother, as was mine, and so was your daughter. I consider that very corageous, I/we have only just decided on a child, even a month earlier would have been too early. Waiting was important. And it happened the instant we decided.

I am looking forward to hearing about the boy, his voice must be breaking.

I enjoy each and every moment I spend sensing your soul and all is perfect and so often I think of Butoh and Haiku when I see your work and the beauty, of course. In search of the true beauty as opposed to all the artificial beauty that floods the world so much.

Bother me? No way! I have friends of all ages (I'm 35) and I think it's wonderful. Age is just a number...I have loved "meeting" you and I think it's amazing that we are all connecting using this tool that is the internet- regardless of race, age, or nationality!

Such a beautiful, personal and amusing strip of photos. Here, there are only one or two places that still have such a camera booth. They remind me of my teenage years when my friends and I would cram in and prepare to grin like loons.

Wishing you happy days and much love this new year, g

Olivat poistaneet vakkarikoppini jossain remontissa. Jäljellä vain tyhmiä yhden kuvan tietokonekoppeja. Riudun.

it's a surprise and at the same time it's not. It's cool! Somehow we all reveal who we are irrespective what we choose to show or try to hide on our blogs. As you say, our souls find each other because we have something in common, but the differences (in style, language, experience) make the blogging thing interesting.

thank you, all you lovely ladies for those warm comments!
schanett,
you are so right,it´s not only us who can decide. and i think it´s better wait than regret ;)
Jo,
so happy for you!!
yes i was in a hurry, just wanted to have a child and have a family.
i have had a funny order in my life, but maybe therefore also a full life!
you really know how to warm my heart with your words. thank you!
if anything i do reminds you of haiku or butoh, i have succeeded more than well:)
jennifer,
i also have friends of all ages, some of my daughter´s friends are also mine, that´s nice, i think.
i do agree with you, this tool is great!
gracia,
i have taken my grandson to this camera booth since he was 3 years old, once every summer. and if it´s not so funny now, think what it will be when i´m 80 and he is 35 :)
<3 to you!
isoinpapu,
en tiedä onko hesassakaan enää muualla kuin asemalla. siellä ollaan sitten kerran kesässä käyty jo 10 vuotta. voikun ne ei veis niitä pois!
mummous on iloinen asia! suosittelen:)
knick knack,
yes this blogging thing is really interesting, i´m so happy to have the possibility!

I didn't mean "try to hide";I wanted to say "choose to share or not to share" . It's our free choice, isn't it... /Karen

Ritva kirjoitti...

dear karen,
i understand what you meant :)
and for me the question was when is the right moment to reveal this, because when i started my blog i didn´t even think about my age. little by little i noticed this little difference ;) in numbers.
.....another story is this english. every time i say something i hope that i have little angels with me, we all know how easily we misunderstand each other even when we speak our native language!
this is very good practice :)
hugs!

and karen,
i agree with you 100%,
it´s soooo nice to find soulmates but the differences make our views grow wider!
